SUMMARY- COURSE OVERVIEW -
The country road fringed with narcissus flowers meanders through terraced rice paddies and spectacular views of Northern Alps over the valley.
SEASON : mid-April to October
Starting from the Himekawa River, a solid clime continues through quaint village. Best visited during the month of April, just after the snow melts when yellow narcissus blossom along the road. White-capped Japan Alps in cystal blue sky can be seen on the way. An onsen lodge at the finish line is the hidden gem of the area: enjoy the alkali-rich hot spring that soothes the skin better than lotion.
